The scientists are trying to find out the gene that is responsible for the impotence. The term hereditary was first coined by the great scientist Gregor Mendel, who is called as the father of genetics. Hereditary means the transfer of certain characters from the parent to the offspring. These characters are transformed in the form of genes.
